Our Beliefs

We Are a Non-denominational, Autonomous Church That Teaches:

Jesus Christ is the Son of God who is fully God and man. He is the risen Lord and is the only means of salvation.
The Bible is the infallible, inerrant and inspired Word of God.
The Gospel is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus and the power of God for the salvation of everyone.
Baptism is immersion in water where one is buried with Christ for the forgiveness of sins and receives the Holy Spirit as a gift.
The Church is the body of Christ on earth to fulfill His commands, provide Christians with a community of encouragement and is governed by qualified men known as elders.

Our Priorities

Serious about the local mission

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matt. 28:19-20).

We seek to teach the seeker. Every ministry in the church inspired to facilitate outreach

Total dependence on God

"God makes things grow. . ." (1 Cor. 3:7).

As we work hard on planting and watering, God is the One who causes the growth. He develops our spiritual life with Bible study, prayer, worship , fellowship and service.

Real Love

"As I have loved you, so you must love one another7" (John 13:34).

The Simi Church is a community of encouragement and a haven for the hurting. We are genuinely friendly and have a family atmosphere. Our fellowship events build closeness and understanding.

Anchor New Members

"We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us." (1 Thessalonians 2:8 ).

One goal we have is to nurture those new in Jesus into fruitful maturity. We love to guide those who have been restored into a deeper, lasting relationship with God.

Train Members to Minister

". . .preparing God’s people for works of service" (Eph. 4:12).

Through spiritual gift discovery and teacher training we assign those placing membership into the deacon led areas of ministry in the congregation.

Encouragement through small groups

". . . from house to house" (Acts 5:42).

A new ministry still under construction, our Growth Groups are the key to caring for our members while reaching out to others. The church grows larger and smaller at the same time! Great emphasis on the "Lordship" of Christ

"and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Phil. 2:11).

Jesus rules and we joyfully serve. He is in charge of our activities, relationships, priorities and attitudes.

Young People Preperation

"How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word." (Psa. 119:9).

Our emphasis is on equipping our children through Bible knowledge, spirituality and faith sharing. Their faith is fortified by attending Bible classes, Leadership Training for Christ, Vacation Bible School, retreats and camps. Our entire church is involved with its young people.
