Daniel Jolliff - Pulpit MinsterDaniel was born in Tokyo, Japan March 15, 1962. His parents were missionaries there and he spent the first nine years of his life growing up as a missionary kid. He spent the next nine years of his life growing up in Fresno, CA and was very active in the Church as a teenager. He preached his first sermon when he was fifteen and he initiated and became the 1st president of the Bible Club at Clovis High School He attended Pepperdine University where he received his B.A. in Communications 1984 and an M.S. in Ministry which he completed in 1997. He also got married to Alison in 1984 and in 1988 went to Kenya to do ten years of mission work. Upon his return to the States, Daniel completed an M-Div. at Harding Graduate School of Religion in Memphis, TN. He then moved back to Southern California and is currently pursuing a Ph. D. in Missiology at Fuller Theological Seminary. He was the preacher for the Santa Paula Church of Christ from September of 2000-2007 and as of October 2007, he is the preaching minister here at Simi Church of Christ |

Lori Brawner - Director of Children’s ServicesLori has been attending the Simi church since 1971. She and her husband, Greg, who is a deacon, have previously directed the youth group activities. They have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Miranda and Sheridan. Lori received her Bachelor of Arts and her teaching credential from California State University at Northridge. She has taught various elementary school-aged children in the Simi Valley Unified School District for over 7 years and was voted one of the favorite teachers in the valley. Lori has worked in children’s ministries in various capacities at the Simi church. She enjoys scrapbooking, dancing hula, traveling with family, and coaching soccer . |

Milt Pullen - Music MinisterMilt was born and reared in Texas, earning his music degrees in voice and conducting from Texas A&M University, Kingsville, and the University of Houston. Before joining Pepperdine University, Professor Pullen directed award winning high school programs in Texas for 24 years. For six years he was a member of the music faculty at Abilene Christian University serving as an Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities. His choral groups have performed for three Texas Music Educators Conventions, the 1995 National Convention of the American Choral Directors. In 1993, Pullen was awarded the coveted Denius Award of Texas in honor of his excellence in UIL Activities via choral music, an award presented to only ten teachers a year. In 1994 Pullen was one of four &147;teacher of the year&148; finalists in the Clear Creek I.S.D. This year, 2005-2006, Pepperdine University awarded Milt the Howard A. White Excellence in Teaching Award. Milt has been Worship Minister at Simi Church of Christ for over Ten years. and with his wife Evie, have lifted up the celebration and praise of God at our church |
